Ivan Marquez Trailer Accident: Following a sad utility trailer accident that occurred in Clearfield on Wednesday morning, a 27-year-old man from Ogden has passed away.
Ivan Marquez has been named as the victim. Ivan Marquez, a longtime resident of Ogden, Utah, reportedly died in a workplace accident.
According to Lt. Scott Manookin of the Clearfield Police Department, they received a complaint about an unconscious individual at the Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, which is located near to the crossroads of 1100 South and 1000 West, at 6:30 a.m.

On Wednesday morning, when he was working at Utility Trailer Manufacturing, a piece of equipment collapsed on him and killed him.
Lt. Scott Manookin of the Clearfield Police Department reports that the collision happened this morning at 6:30 a.m. close to 1111 S. 1000 W. in Clearfield.
According to Manookin, a piece of equipment that was dangling over the employees dropped and struck the man, causing a severe head injury.
The man was given CPR by coworkers, and after being taken to the Holy Cross Hospital in Layton, he eventually passed away from his wounds.
The victim was only identified as an Ogden resident, age 27.
Since this was an accident that happened at work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been alerted, and the matter is currently under investigation.
